Apple Farm

On a beautiful fall day in September...

We headed to an apple farm about 40 minutes away which was well worth it because it was a beautiful drive. The kids were so excited to pick apples.  After a little hay ride, we picked and picked apples.  Then the kids played on the toys and walked through the maze.  After getting home and because of Macie's insistence that we make an apple pie, we got to work in the kitchen.  This was our first pie to ever make and I thought it was ok but the other three were not too impressed with it.  They don't like baked apples.  However, we have loved eating on our apples that we have picked.  Macie is asking to go back.

We are not surprised that Weston found more sticks and that they wound up in his pants.

And because I just can't get enough of this sweet little one....

HIS STICKS in his pants again!
Anything he finds goes in his pants or undies...guns, tools and sticks!  We now have sticks all over the house and they are by his bed at night. ALL BOY!
