Off To Visit Grammy and Papaw

We went to Tyler this past weekend to celebrate Papaw and Grammy's birthdays and to participate in the Azalea 10K/2 Mile Walk. What a wonderful weekend we had!!!! Macie loved spending time with Grammy and Papaw. She also had a blast with Jackson and Jillian. They are always so good with her even though she is smaller than them. The run was a blast! I keep kicking myself because I forgot my camera. The race started fairly early and we had to get there to park. So in the rush I forgot it! It was a great family event. Matt, Paul, and Zack all ran the 10 K. They each got the goal they were aiming for. Jackson, Jillian, and Lori ran the 2 mile race! Jackson ran his 2 miles in 17 min and some seconds(can't remember) and placed 7th in his age group. Next year Jackson is thinking about running the 10K and I know he can do it. Jillian placed 4th in her age group. Lori reached her goal and placed 8th in her age group. Janet and I (Macie in the stroller) walked/jogged the 2 mile. We reached our goal and Janet placed 3rd in her age group....she recieved a medal!!! After the race was over, I was putting Macie back in the stroller when Zack noticed that the diamond in my ring had fallen out. It was the worst feeling. We started looking on the ground and everywhere. All I could think is we have been all over and there is no way we are going to find it. PRAISE GOD that we did find it. The diamond fell out when I was putting Macie back in the stroller after going to the bathroom. When Zack found me to show me the diamond I just burst into tears and I noticed his hands were still shaking. No we weren't very smart because we didn't have it insured BUT YES we will get it insured now! Lesson learned!

The azaleas are just beautiful. I love the way Macie is looking at Jillian in this picture! What a good example Jillian is! Bubbles with Grammy! Grammy had a really neat bubble maker. When you squeeze the bottle the plastic bubble blower comes out. Macie played with the bubbles forever.
Macie blows a little funny but she still makes bubbles!
Having a great time with Grammy!
More Bubbles!
Papaw's Hat
Papaw was a good sport. Macie played peek-a-boo with Papaw's hat. She took it off him and put it back on him several times.
Hugging Papaw

Time for a snack on a hot day!
The only GIRL COUSINS! As of now the boys are winning...3 boys and 1 little boy on the way!
Macie just loves her Jackson!
Don't want to leave any of the ice cream behind.
Walking with Daddy!

Macie had to have her sunglasses because it was so bright out!
More Azaleas! They are just everywhere in Tyler! Wow, they are pretty!
We enjoyed walking outside because the weather was perfect!
I just love my sweet little girl! I am 20 weeks in this picture. Macie is hiding my bump.

One of my favorites!

GOATS

Last week Macie and I went to get our oil changed. Right beside the oil place is a house with some goats, horses, and a few other animals. As soon as we got to the shop, Macie knew we were walking over to the animals. I was glad I had my camera because she had such a fun time with the goats. It was another gorgeous day out and that made it all the better. Here are a few pictures and a couple of videos of Macie and the goats.

BIG GIRL BED

Macie is officially in a big girl bed. We picked up the mattress yesterday and her furniture will come in around the first of April. I will put new pics up of her cute bedding once we get it all fixed up. Macie and I took the crib apart after her nap and I made a big deal about this being her new brother's bed and that she was getting a big girl bed. I am thrilled to see her JOY in this new bed. She could hardly contain herself once she knew it was in her room. That's a good thing because when it was moved into the new baby's room, she had a meltdown. She wanted in the bed saying she was tired. She kept repeating, "Macie's bed."
Bedtime was a success! She went down like always. Zack and I peeked in on her and she was had her head on her pillow which I thought was super cute since she hasn't slept with a pillow yet. When I went in to get her this morning, she immediately said, "Macie's big girl bed." Then she walked into the new baby's room and said, "Baby brother's bed."
Did I cry? YES, I did the night before. Zack and I were laying in bed talking about how she would do with the change and how the bedtime routine would change. I just started crying and couldn't talk. I rock Macie before nap and bedtime each day for a few minutes after reading a couple of books. Well, actually since finding out I was pregnant I have rocked her a little longer if she is willing to cuddle with me. So I cried because I realized that once the rocking chair is moved from her room our Mommy/Macie rocking time will change to us sitting on the bed and reading books. I have rocked my precious daughter for 2 years now and it is hard knowing that this is another change and a more grown up step for her. Before she was born, I would sit in the rocker imagining the day that I would bring her home from the hospital. Now two years later I have a very active, fun-loving 2 year old who sometimes makes me want to pull my hair out but who I love more than I thought or knew was possible.
First Nap in the New Bed
Macie's babies are lined up against the wall for their nap too! Before she fell asleep, Macie played in her bedroom with the door shut. She would come tell me that the babies were sleeping and to "Shhh." Then she would say they were crying and go back and check on them. She played with her babies for about 30 minute before lunch and her nap.
Macie is putting her baby down for the night too!

Feels pretty comfortable
Sitting on her bed.
Notice she has her two babies on the on the pillows. At this point, Macie already turned on her music and was pretending her babies were sleeping. She even shut the door.

Macie is testing out a mattress to see if she likes it.

Hanging out with Blake

Swinging at the Park
"Are you glad you are 2? What did you think of your birthday party?"

Happy 2nd Birthday, Blake! What a joy you are to all of us!

These two little cousins sure do like each other.

Kiss

Blake's new sand toy was a huge hit thanks to Nonnie and Pappy. The only thing that has to be learned is that there is NO THROWING SAND!

Macie was thrilled to get to Blake's birthday. As soon as she woke up she said, "Blake's house." Hopefully when summer comes around again Macie and Blake can spend more time together.

Trip to Austin

We went to Austin for Zack's 30th birthday. It was so much fun! When we arrived I was surprised with a massage. Amy and I were off to get massages while Zack hung out with Macie and Finley. Kylan slept the whole time. After that we enjoyed dinner out and the kids played until past bedtime. On Saturday we went to Rogue, Chris' running store. Being there just makes you want to run more. We then let the kids play at the park by Central Market. Saturday evening we got a babysitter and went to dinner. What a fun treat! The whole way to the restuarant we discussed whether the kids would be fine and all was good when we returned. The time went to fast and I didn't get enough pictures! Macie still talks about Finley in Austin.
Macie and Finley had a wonderful time playing together.
Macie was very impressed with Baby Kylan. What a sweet baby boy!!

Going to Wal-Mart
Macie liked playing in the train tent.

It's a BOY

We are thrilled to know that we are having a little BOY! Oh my goodness, I can't believe it! Macie is going to have a brother. I think I was thinking girl just because I am so used to Macie and thought it would be fun for her to have a sister. BUT she will be so lucky to have a brother. I just loved having my brothers. They were such good protectors and so much fun to play with while we grew up! Thanks to Weatherford College for an early sonogram. I will officially have my next sonogram at 20 weeks on April 1st at the doctor's office. We are going to act surprised because I am not sure whether my doctor would be impressed that I went to the college. It is all very safe. The students there are in training. The part I think doctors may frown on is if the students find something wrong. However, BABY BOY MCCLUNG looked healthy and was wiggling all around. They were trying to get a full body picture for us to have but he wouldn't stay in one position...probably the coke I had before we went.

I am now 16 weeks pregnant and feeling great. I had another doctor appointment yesterday and all seems good! I love feeling back to normal! I love that I have a pregnant belly! I have also felt our little fella moving some! I have had some funny cravingswhich I don't really remember having any with Macie. The other day I really wanted the frozen lemonade that you buy in the can! So I got it and it was delicious! I also like eating cheese with crackers and Thousand Island Dressing. Candy seems to be something I also would like to eat all the time but I try to limit it to just a little a day!
In the picture above I was taking my 16 week picture and without encouragement or anything Macie pulled up her shirt too! It just made me laugh! Macie will love her little brother when he arrives! We will keep working with Macie on saying baby brother. We did ask her what she wanted to name her brother at dinner the other night. She sat there and thought....and then said, "Carter." That is a name we mentioned to her a while back. We haven't decided on a name yet but I hope to sooner than later! I just like knowing!
