Into EVERYTHING

Daddy took this picture while Macie was sitting on the couch.
By Friday Macie was completely back to normal...smiling, laughing, and playing like she did before she got sick. That cold and cough really kept her from being her sweet little self. What a joy to have her back to normal! While I was cleaning up the kitchen, Macie opened the pantry door and started taking all the cans out. Then she started stacking the cans which I was very impressed by. Sadly though one of the cans fell on her foot and made her cry...that had to hurt!

Can you see her curls?
MACIE CAUGHT with the GOLDFISH!
After dinner the other night, we set the goldfish on the chair so Macie wouldn't see them. She loves them so if they are in her sight she is pointing at them. While we were in the living room we saw her walk over to the kitchen and didn't think a thing. Then we noticed her discovery and so did Sebastian. He was waiting for her to share but she finished off the bag all by herself. It was almost empty. I didn't let her eat a ton!!

Just like the pantry..if I open the 'fridge door, Macie dashes to it as fast as possible. She is always looking for something to grab. She actually ended up getting an apple out of the bottom. It dropped to the floor. So I figured she could play with it while I made dinner. Then I realized she was trying to eat it. So I peeled the skin and had her sit on the red rug by me while I worked. I tried taking it from her at one point and you would have thought I hurt her. She cried like a mad woman. She loves fruit!!!

What's Been Going On Around Here

Good morning!

Sitting in my chair the wrong way....
...fell over and got very upset!

Loves her "ball"...aka balloon!
Papaw and Grammy stopped by the house this past weekend. They came in to meet Neill's new baby. We were sad we didn't get to go but Macie was still not over all her coughing and runny nose. I knew she would have loved seeing the baby. Whenever we see baby carriers she says baby and always looks. In fact, just now when I layed her down for her morning nap she looked at her baby picture and said baby. So sweet!

Where's Grammy? Where's Papaw? Where's Macie?
We are getting out house cleaned up and organized because it looks like we will be putting it on the market by the end of the month. Macie enjoys playing with the boxes. She rolls her balls through the boxes and crawls through them, too.

Friday morning after all the snow had stopped.

Fancy outfit for the snow!

Macie wasn't so sure about how cold the snow felt. Even though she had been sick all week I let her go out in the snow for about 3 minutes. She kept crying each time the dogs went out and would stand by the door waiting to go out herself. She didn't understand how cold it was. She loved the fresh air and the cold didn't bother her like it did me!

Playing with the ball machine
I have tried to rotate toys so she gets excited when she plays with them. This was in the closet for a couple of weeks. She saw it one day so we got it back out. Almost everytime she walks by it, she pushes the red button to make it go. She is also showing off her ponytail. Her long hair is driving me crazy because it is always in her eyes. I love the ponytail but she doesn't keep it in very long just like all her bows.

I HEART You-Happy Valentine's

I just laugh when I see this picture! Macie looks a little silly with her glasses being crooked. She is sporting all her red!
Mommy is making her pose.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Macie has figure out how fun it is to open presents. Both grandma's gave her cute dresses for the spring/summer. I am ready for it to warm up so she can wear her cute new things.
Riding Nonnie's horse! Looking pretty cute with a ponytail and hairbow.
"What are you looking at?"

It looks like Macie is feeling almost back to normal. Today I have see her smile more and act so much happier. What a relief! She has had a couph/cold for a little over a week. Macie made me laugh out loud today. She has been staying close by my side and not playing very much by herself since she has been sick. She was really quiet so I went to check on her and saw her by the dog pen. Then when I went to put on her shoes I realized why she was so quiet. She was washing her shoes in the potty! They were laying out to dry! Crazy girl! Oh, that just mayde me remember another shoe story. Yesterday I was looking for one of my shoes and I found it in the bathtub!

New Things Learned

Macie seems to be learning new things daily and talking more and more. What she is saying we can't always figure out but I love listening to her talk. When you ask her where her nose is she will point (really pick it) to her nose. When you ask her what a dog says she says, "Ruff" and when you ask her where her belly is she pulls her shirt up. We love it!!!

Where's your belly?

Macie is very interested in the fireplace and the actual fire. The other night she kept trying and trying to climb up on the fireplace and she finally mastered it. Then she got really frustrated because there wasn't enough space to stand up. Don't worry we took her down! Yes, we know this isn't a good habit to encourage but we were amazed with her determination.

Riding her horse with her baby!

Macie can get on and off her horse all by herself. She enjoys riding it and bringing her babies along for the ride.
