Pumpkins

Cookie making is always way more fun if you just taste test the icing!  I think the kids loved that part!
Weston was such a great painter.  He was so cautious and careful as he and Macie began painting.  They were just so excited!
Macie very carefully worked on a face for her pumpkin!
And then it got on his head.....
AND THIS is what I KNEW WOULD HAPPEN ALL ALONG!

We also went to an awesome pumpkin patch recently.  Macie has talked and talked about this pumpkin patch since last year when we went there with her friend, Hayden.  I posted a several pictures just because it's fun!  The weather was warm and we had a wonderful time.  It seemed though that when we left I had two snotty kids because of the hay.  However, I loved every minute.

 THE MAZE!!!!
Last year Macie and Hayden ran through the maze before we realized they were gone.  They mastered it in the dark!  We didn't do so hot.  We ended up having to come out of the entrance.  We were going through all the extra spots of the maze and I think we were close to the end but Macie decided to go the other way.  So we did. I was thinking that we were getting our money's worth out of this maze. Weston was just tired though and kept saying, "Mommy, hold you."  So I led us to the entrance so we could have a drink and rest!

Weston did a LOT of throwing! I kept reminding these were pumpkins not balls.

Sweet Myka met us at the pumpkin patch!  Weston really likes his little friend!

The Golfer

Weston loves golfing.  It is just his thing.  He plays all day long!  He talked his Nonnie and Pappy into letting him bring his real golf clubs back to our house after his last stay there.  His Pappy took him golfing again and he just couldn't part with his clubs.  He loves to look at his golfing pictures and will say, "Go golfing. Pappy."  I have to remind him that Pappy is working and can't always take him.  However, I am sure both Pappy and Weston would rather be on the golf course than at work/playing here at the house. When Weston wakes up in the morning he will often put his clubs on and be at the back door. I have to remind him that he needs clothes and shoes especially now that it is getting cooler.

GOLFERS TAKE TIME OUT TO...
NAP
Weston loves his lovies and had to also sleep with his clubs. I have a picture on my phone of Weston napping with his pappy and his clubs.
POTTY
Sometimes golfers have to take a quick potty break and it is easier to go outside rather than in his potty. Weston's quick break always consist of taking shoes, pants, and undies completely off.
 RECOVER FROM AN INJURY
We were at Academy the other day and Weston walked past the golf section.  His eyes seriously lit up when he realized what section we were in.  Somehow one of the golf clubs he touched fell off and got him in the eye!  WHAT A GOLFING injury and he wasn't even playing.

Daddy made Weston's day by going down into the creek area and recovering as many balls as he could reach. Weston loves to hit the balls over the fence rather than length of the yard.  I just bought another set of orange balls (4th set) and they seem to disappear.
Here are just a few balls
This golfer did take time to look for his daddy.  We sure have missed Zack since he is traveling so much.  Zack was mowing and Weston kept asking, "Where Daddy go?"  As soon as Zack was finished with his main mowing, Weston was outside with him and YOU GUESSED IT...practicing golfing.

OCTOBER/FALL FUN

I love this time of year as the weather cools off!  Thanks to Pinterest we get to try out new recipes and crafts!  As we go through the month of October and November I am enjoying and looking forward to enjoying Miss Macie and Mr. Weston!

Working on Candy corns

Daddy brought Macie and Weston Halloween cupcakes home after his week in St. Louis.  WHAT A COLOR!  They loved them.  We were trying to eat dinner and Weston had a massive screaming fit because he wanted his cupcake.  What were we thinking leaving them on the counter.  He ate about 4 bites of dinner but didn't leave any of his cupcake behind.  Macie loved that her teeth were orange.

 Carving Pumpkins
Macie thought it was way to disgusting to touch the insides but Weston didn't mind one bit.

I put the pumpkin under my shirt....ha!
Starting this week I will be going weekly for check-ups.  I can't believe we are in our final month.  I love being pregnant and it has been a really good pregnancy.  There are a few things that aren't so fun...trying to get out of bed, rolling over in bed, bending down and leg cramps!  But I love every other part.  I feel like I look like I did with Macie.  I carried Weston higher and he stuck out more.  Kinsley and Macie have made me have a rounder tummy.  Three times I have had an older lady stop me and say BOY!  Wouldn't that be an unexpected surprise.
I just thought this was so sweet.  Weston and Madden were very fascinated with the fire.
Wearing their BONES and eating Halloween chocolate chip pancakes. YUMMY!
 Making Ghost Cookies
We had our 2nd Annual Fall Neighborhood Party! It was a lot of fun!  Lots of new neighbors came down and kids were running around everywhere.  WE had a bounce house which Weston spent hours in unless big kids were in there.  He also was a fan of the cupcakes.  It was so much fun to visit and enjoy a beautiful night.  At the end of the night, I did get sad because we have been blessed with a great bunch of neighbors and lots of kids to play with. It has been so enjoyable to watch all the kids grow over the past three years.  I will miss these kind of things that we do here but am praying we find another great neighborhood to raise our kids.
