Surprise! Happy Birthday!

Surprise!  Happy Early Birthday, Macie!  WE decided to throw Macie a birthday a party early this year.  On the treadmill a few weeks ago, I started thinking about all the things that would come with a move.  One of the things Macie talks so much about are the details of her birthday.  She even mentioned wanting a party where people jumped out and said, "Surprise."  Knowing that we wouldn't be here in this house on her birthday broke my heart because I didn't know how she would be able to have all her sweet little friends at her party!    So I am so thankful that she was able to spend a few hours with some sweet little girls.  It was such a fun time and I honestly loved every moment too!  She had a blast!  She said, "This is the best birthday ever!"  I saw her biggest and prettiest smiles the whole time and after the party too! When she got in bed Saturday night she said, "That birthday party wore me out!"  WHAT A PERFECT DAY!
Daddy took Macie and Weston to IHop on a date while Nonnie and I prepared for the party.  We told Macie a week ago that her Daddy was taking her on a special date when he got home.  She was thrilled. Saturday was the fastest she has ever gotten dressed.

Princess Tiaras being made!
It was so fun to listen to the girls conversations while decorating their tiaras.  They commented on it being only girls besides They also talked about it being just girls and no mommies!  I think the girls were able to just be girls and enjoy one another.
They were each creative with their crowns.
Turn the Frog into a Prince with a Kiss

Magical Wands kept the balloons in the air
Who doesn't love a pinata.

All the girls wanted a flower.  I thought we would have a lot of cake left over but most girls had to pieces.  Why now?  It's a surprise party!

One of my favorite things I saw Macie do was hug each girl after she opened the presenst from them.  She was so excited to receive her new things.  Present time is always wild because every one is anxious for you to open the present they brought.  It is always crazy fun!  Weston wanted to open presents too!

Ballet Recital

This past Wednesday was the "Parents Observation" at ballet.  This worked out perfectly for Macie because it was her last ballet class as well.  She considered it her recital; however, she wanted to know where their fancy costumes were at that their teacher has talked about.  I was very glad to watch her dance.  I think she enjoys ballet/tap but I also think she had in her mind they would do a lot more dancing around like she does at home rather than practicing steps or certain ballet moves.

Macie was so happy to have Weston and me there.  She kept turning and waving and even gave me a kiss.  Weston watched very closely as the girls practiced.

Weston started getting bored once they switched from tap to ballet.  He wanted to put Macie's shoes on.  He started climbing on the poles and telling me to "watch this."  Good think we had some snacks to keep him busy the last 20 minutes.
All those little tap shoes sure can make some noise.

"Sisters"  They call each other sister rather than by their names.

Macie and Hayden got to spend the day together on Tuesday.
We finished getting out all of the baby things that we need.  I knew without a doubt Weston would watch to try everything out.  Macie liked putting her babies in the bouncy too!
I just love this little guy so much.  He is enjoying a favorite snack, yogurt.  One of my favorite things he says right now is "thank you, your welcome" all in the same breath.  It makes me laugh every time!

Happy Halloween

Trick or Treat...that we did and the kids may have cavities after all the candy the received.  Weston may be in the biggest trouble because every time I looked at him and was reaching for another sucker.  We were so glad to have Daddy home just in time to walk out the door to trick or treat.  Macie and Zack went ahead of Weston and me because he was a little slower. I am glad though that they got to together and with Macie's friends.  Weston went with his two friends, Myka and Walker.
Macie was supposed to have her last day of school on Thursday but got sick Wednesday night so we stayed home.  She said, "I have a great idea.  We will have a craft day."  So we did and it was a lot of fun.  I think they both enjoyed their time.  The bathtub was covered in paint after we were all finished which is a definite sign of a good time.
Weston was making a marshmallow ghost but did more eating that sticking marshmallows on his paper.

Macie made bats.

 Pumpkins

Batgirl and Batman here to say the world.
I had two kids screaming with excitement when the garage door opened and they knew their daddy was home.  They ran out the door in delight.  They sure have missed not having him home during the week.
Here are a few of the neighbors that made it down for a quick picture before we were off for candy.
Weston does love Myka.  I think she is his first crush.

At this point here, we met up with several of our other neighborhood friends.  I will admit I teared up thinking what a great block we have.  Kids galore!
SUCCESS!

My sweet neighbors had me a baby shower on Monday night and I wasn't expecting it.  They surprised me with fun gifts and yummy food.  The kids had so much fun!  A BIG THANKS all these people that have made me feel so special.  I am so glad we get to have Kinsley here so I can show her off to my friends/neighbors that love her too!

Family Gathering

Last week we headed to Tyler (thanks to Papaw for picking us up and taking us) for "THANKSGIVING!
Thanksgiving in October may seem a little crazy but this was the only weekend we could all get there and I won't be traveling too far from home until Miss Kinsley makes her appearance.  So we went to Tyler on Wednesday evening.  Thursday we had a wonderful day at the Science Place.  It is one of Macie's favorite places to go.  I need to upload pictures from my phone from it.  Macie and Weston had a blast in the pretend play area which consist of a grocery store, restaurant, hospital nursery, blank and court room.  They played and played in there.  They enjoyed spending time with Grammy and Papaw while they waited for their big cousins to get out of school and for their other cousins to arrive from Austin.

Friday we went to the zoo.  It was a beautiful day to spend there and what a beautiful zoo it was.  The trees were amazing.  I thought it might be crazy because there were three field trips at the same time but we had a perfect time.  Macie and Finley guided us through the zoo with their maps.  They raced ahead to each animal while Kylan and Weston followed behind.

We have a great group of SUPER HEROES!  The McClung Cousins are here to SAVE the WORLD!

We all wanted to love on SWEET Alayna!  She is just so precious.  Weston loved on her too!  That made me feel even a little bit more excited about him meeting his little sister!  I think he will do just fine as long as he doesn't try to pick her up or think she is a ball.

THE WAGON...that's all I have to say!
Every time we are there the kids are being raced down the driveway in the wagon and love it.

Weston went too many days without his golf club and needed a "golf fix" so he borrowed a club of Jackson's.
 Papaw and Weston watching golf.

Here all 7 cousins are...waiting on the 8th!

We had a great time enjoying family!  Zack got to Tyler Saturday and it felt just great to see him again.  We had a good Saturday and ended the evening watching the RED RAIDERS....then the virus began...Macie, Jackson, Jillian, and Grammy all started feeling crummy around the same time!  Weston got sick on Sunday and Zack felt bad on Monday! Those sick germs seem to spread quickly!  However, I am glad we had the opportunity to spend time together.  Family is one of the things I am most THANKFUL for!  I love that we get to enjoy each other's company and watch our kids grow together!  I know that my kids will look back and love their time with their cousins just like I did and still do!
