Papaw and Grammy came for a visit and brought us our baby gift. I was so excited I had to put it together immediately. Zack didn't want to take it around the block for a practice stroll nor did he think we should install the car seat in the car. I guess that would be rushing it a bit! I love Macie's two new baby items and can't wait to put the stroller and car seat into use. Zack is a little nervous about all the baby stuff because we have to find a place to put it. I think the house will fill up quickly.

24 Weeks

It is hard to believe I am at 24 weeks. ..only 16 weeks to go or less if Little Macie decides to come early. I went to the doctor today and she measured my belly and listened to the heartbeat (140's). As I was sitting in the room waiting on the doctor, my shirt would move because she was kicking. It was fun to watch. I feel her moving all the time and love it. I especially love feeling her during the school day when things seem a little stressful.

Here is another one of my maternity shirts that I have. I love the pants, too! They are so comfortable with my expanding belly.

We are on our way to getting the nursery ready. My baby bedding came in and I am so pleased. Now I just have to get the dresser which is on backorder and some decorations for the walls. We also have to get fabric for the chair and table. I hope to have it all ready by November. I love going in her room and just looking at the bed. I imagine her in it and think, "Wow, I am going to have a daughter!"

I thought I would show off one of my maternity outfits...bargain price of $12.
"FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" My new students were excited to hear I was having a baby girl and my last year's kids wanted to touch my belly. I am just thrilled to finally have a pregnant belly.
Mom and I told Zack that we were going to click on every pink thing we saw! I did click on lots of pink things, but I was trying to think practically because we need the big things to work for the next one. Should I even be thinking about the next one....I don't even have my first little baby yet!
"Pink is my Signature Color!" is what little Macie may be saying. She will be able to quote Steel Magnolias as soon as she talks.
