This is What I Do When....

I don't like what I am eating...Garden Vegetables! This is the only thing Macie has really not liked. Sometimes when she is tired of what she is eating, she spits too!

Almost 9 months old

Macie is talking to Nonnie on Skype! She is really trying hard to crawl. She is great at getting on her hands and knees but that's as far as she has gotten so far! Macie is also trying to pull up on things and likes to stand holding something while I help her do this! She thinks she is so big!

Peek-a-Boo

We went to our friends' house yesterday! Macie just loves dogs! Todd and Andrea's dog, Hayley, wanted to be close to Macie!

Macie and Easton
Macie had so much fun playing with Easton and all his fun toys!

Doesn't her crazy hair looks so blonde in this picture? I think it was a combo of the flash and the yellow dress.

Two Teeth

Look closely and you can see them both. The one on the right is easy to see but the one on the left is a bit smaller. Macie looks a little silly in the picture below but as long as she is happy I have no complaints!

Hanging out with my Pig!
The other night it was time for Macie to go to bed but she was so wound up and I have no idea why. She wouldn't even nurse. Anyway, she was just rolling all over the place and then she sat with her Dad a bit and watched some TV. Since I was on the couch, she kept looking over the side of the chair and grinning. She thinks she is so big!

8 1/2 Months

This is what I do after I wake up from my nap before my mommy comes and gets me....I take the crib bumpers off!
I was helping Daddy pack for his work trip to Louisiana!
I went to visit Nonnie at her school while Daddy was out of town! The 6th graders seemed really nice!
"Some Beach...Somewhere"
I am soooo BIG sitting in this big kid desk eating Puffs!

We went to Austin for the Labor Day weekend to visit Chris, Amy, and Finley! It was so much fun to see them, their new house, and hang out! The trip there and back was a success too! Macie slept the whole way which made it very easy on us! We can't wait to until the family is all together again!
Finley is crawling all over the place so we were hoping that Macie would get some pointers on how to crawl! It was so fun to see Finley since we haven't seen him since he was brand new. How fast they grow!

Cousins

The cousins were sitting on the edge of the couch hanging out! I think they liked each other. Macie wanted to take Finley's toys away from him but other than that I would say they had a great time.

Grammy and Papaw finally got to spend time with both of the little ones together. What will Christmas be like when we try to get them to pose for a pictue?!

Is this Texas poof?

Playing Dress-Up instead of helping Chris and Amy unpack their boxes.

Last of the 7 Month Pictures

Macie is now in her 8 month of life and I think it is safe to say that Macie loves life and is a very happy baby! She wakes up with a smile and goes to sleep with one too! She has had a rough couple of days with her first tooth coming in. Naptime was a challenge. She just wanted me to hold her in the afternoons and would cry if I put her down. So even though the nap wasn't as long, I held her and loved every minute of it. Guess we will wait to see when the next one pops up. Macie is also rolling all over the place. She rolls from one side in the living room to the other side. She can get around pretty fast when she feels like it. I can't let her at of my sight for too long...it is time to baby proof the house! She also will be in a sitting position and rock herself into a tummy position. I put her on her hands and knees but she isn't quiet ready to crawl yet.
Pappy is trying to read to two busy little babies!
Blake and Macie were both getting ready to roll over! Macie just loves Blake. She loves to touch him and talk to him! It is so much fun to watch babies interact.

Get Your Guns Up! Football season is here and Macie is excited to watch those Red Raiders as much as her mommy and daddy!

What? It's 90 degrees out!!!
I know, I know! I just found this coat for a really good price at Ross yesterday and was excited to know that Macie will have something to keep her warm when we get out this winter. She is also excited that her new coat matches all her fall and winter outfits! (or is her mommy that one that is excited?!)
