Loving Spring

The trees are blooming, the grass is so green, and the temperature is finally warmer than 60.  It feels so good to be outside enjoying our days.

 Macie is crying.

Our third little one to enjoy the slide/swing combo.

 Bubbles

A FAVORITE...all three kids played in the "cold room" which we now can use because it is warm!  They played forever!  How much for fun can using the imagination be when building castles.

Kinsley is JUST so smart...of course, I can brag.  She loves showing us where her belly, nose, toes, and mouth are.

 Warm Hunting

Macie got her performance costume!  She is so excited to play in it after her ballet show in May.
Kinsley seems to be like her sister...she loves lip gloss, shoes, and looking cute.
 Hanging out with Sebastian
I will say looking at the picture, I almost want to cry.  She is just growing up so quickly trying to be like her big sister and brother.
Weston was doing some major ROCK STAR moves!  He was jumping off the chairs and rolling around while I danced.

 Picnic with a salad.
We went to the park the other day to enjoy that 70 degree weather.  It was super fun but a little stressful because all three kids were going in different directions and everyone else decided to go to the park too!

We love exploring all the old houses!

I always smile when Kinsley wears one of Macie's outfits.  Barbara gave the above outfit to Macie and I remember being so careful because of the white.  Well, not even thinking, I gave Kinsley a chocolate granola bar which is in her hand.  WAY to go MOM!

Macie is always working on her drawings.
We went to the movies with our neighbors/friends on Friday.  It is so fun listening to kids just talk out loud when they seem a part of the movie they love.
Macie got the popcorn and Weston got the large icee that came with it.  He definitely worked to finish it.

 Smelling my favorite flowers.
Swing while enjoying suckers Nonnie sent.

Macie had ballet on Tuesday and we were invited to watch.  It was nice to see improvement since the fall.  Kinsley and Weston wanted so much to dance too!

HAPPY EASTER!

I love Easter and celebrating the resurrection of Christ.  Reading to the kids from their Bible the story of Jesus' death and resurrection always puts a lump in my throat.  I know they don't quite understand the power of His death and resurrection but I pray one day they truly grasp what it all means.  We enjoyed our Easter weekend with lots of family time.  It was nice weather, relaxing, and just fun to be together.

Ms. Betty, our neighbor put these fun glasses in the girls' Easter bags.

This is one of my favorite Easter traditions where we count down until Jesus' resurrection.  Next year, Kinsley will get to participate.
Pinterest activity...it didn't taste so good or look like the one on Pinterest but it was fun making it.

Dying Eggs (Kinsley was napping for this one)

Weston was eating marshmallows as fast as he could while decorating his egg.  Macie was a lot more serious.

Pin the Tail on the Bunny

WHY NOT?  It was warm out on Saturday so after finishing our Easter activities, the kids played in the water.  First it was only the guns...and then came the swimsuits.

It is never easy to get a picture of all three but I keep on trying.  This of course is the way it should be...Macie posing, Weston with a bucket on his head, and Kinsley is just busy.

Scavenger Hunt to find Easter Basket
I had to make it trickier this year because Macie remember exactly where the baskets were from the last two years.

 Sharing
Kinsley only put a few eggs in her basket because she was more concerned with trying to eat what she had found.  Boy did she learn quickly.

Kinsley loves her sweet friend, Elsa.

Aren't these the cutest?  These were in the girls' baskets.
Here is a picture of Weston singing at church Sunday.  It is the best video;however, the file is too big and the blog won't allow it.  Weston sang his little heart out!  He may not have been singing the right words but it was music to my ears.  This was the first time he has ever performed so I was unsure if he would stay on stage, sing, or just stand there.  Well, HE SANG!
