LOVE

I always tell Zack I LOVE Love!  That is probably why I am still watching The Bachelor after all these seasons.  It's always fun to see a "Happily Ever After."  Last year Macie told her teacher when discussing the letter L that it was for LOVE.  She is following after her momma.  Since February is the month of Love we have had fun doing all sorts of love stuff.

Here's my "Happily Ever After..."

Kinsley is now 3 months old.  She seems to have pretty good head control and has rolled over twice with the help of both arms being propped underneath her.  Macie is her biggest cheerleader.  She has really made her momma happy and refreshed because she has had several nights of 10:30-6:00AM.  So I confess the first night she did it I woke up at 3, 4, and 5 and would pray for one more hour BUT I haven't woken up since thinking that.  I just sleep, sleep, sleep.

She has also giggled sort of.  I love it.  Kinsley really loves Pat-a-Cake. I love when she watches me and smiles.  I love singing to her and feeling like her eyes shine because she knows I am her momma.

Splish Splash these three love taking a bath.

Weston had to test the baby tub out as soon as Kinsley was out of it.  I remember Macie doing the same thing when she was his age.

Daddy Daughter Dance
Zack and Macie went to her first dance.  She and I went shopping for the perfect dress.  The funny thing is we didn't agree on which dress but I won this one. She wanted a velvet, purple dress with a huge bow.  I convinced her that this was the perfect color for Valentine's and for the spring.

Talking about making this girls day...Daddy brought her flowers, took her to the dance, and then afterwards they went to the mall and bought a crown and had chocolate cake. She didn't really want to dance but loved the limo ride.  I loved that these two had some special time together and that I had special time with Weston.  He kept saying, "I go Daddy Daughter dance too."  Anyway, I told him we would have a great time and so we "drove our cars" and played golf in the basement.

Valentine's
Of course, we had to have Valentine marshmallows in our hot chocolate.

Making the heart shaped dough with their foot prints was lots of fun.  They mixed, played with the dough, got it everywhere, and painted.  It was fun and easy.  I loved it too.

Weston is just like Macie was at this age.  He loved to wash the dishes, use the sprayer, and play in the water.

I am loving this laundry room sink for messy, painted hands.
Symmetrical Valentine Hearts
So we made these last year and GUESS who remembered us making them?  Macie amazes me with her memory sometimes.
One thing I know is that when we bake or make food there are two taste testers that do more tasting than anything.  When we covered these with chocolate and then on strawberries on Valentine's Day, I had to work fast because they couldn't resist.

Heart Cookies
Valentine week we had lots of goodies!
The kids loved getting lots of sweet presents from Nonnie, Grammy, Aunt Amy, and us.  They were spoiled this Valentine's Day.

When Zack arrived home from work he brought flowers for his girls and a delicious dessert.  I wasn't expecting it at all.  Macie's eyes lit up again because she just loves this special treat.

Kinsley slept through almost every Valentine activity.

My Valentine...I love him more than words can say.
(I fixed my hair and put on this shirt.  Macie asked where I was going and then commented that I looked nice.  I get a little lazy when it comes to fixing my hair because it is time and work. )
