Ten years ago (DECEMBER 18th), I said, "I do!" I remember I could barely contain my excitement. I was ready to marry this man. It's funny how you can remember so many things about that ONE day that just made it the perfect day. I love Zack more and more! I am thankful he is my husband, friend, and the father of our sweet kids. I love sharing life with him. The other night I was thinking while we were cleaning up dinner and the kids were having a great time together, "This is why I love him so." So WHY and it may seem silly but when I look at our children I just love him more. I love the simple things in life we get to do together. I love that we have dinner as a family, watch our favorite shows, play "crocodile" and "not cross the line" with the kids. I love date nights. I love that he calls me just because. I love how he makes me smile, laugh, and sometimes cry (the good cry because he has done something special). I love knowing that we made this commitment 10 years ago that "until death do us part" we will be together. So here's to 10 and all the years that follow.
HOW CUTE IS THIS...thank you Pinterest. This is my favorite picture!!
Yes, that would be Weston's donut.
All three at the kid table
These "men" did lots of yard work together. Weston kept saying that "had work to do." It was "hard work." I loved watching them together.
Although Weston came in for lunch with the girls, he needed to have a second lunch with his daddy.
Weston walks around asking me "if he can fix something."
GUILTY...she crawls the stairs and then hollers, "Mom!" so I will come get her and see what she is doing. It is sweet to her MOM but not when she is at the top.
WE had her family sleep night by the Christmas tree which we have been doing with Macie but missed last year. It was quite fun; however, it is tough to go to sleep with all the excitement.
Macie and her classmates send pictures into the teacher and she shares them with the class. I think that is pretty sweet of her to do.
Sweet and Sassy in her "grown up" boots.
CAUGHT AGAIN...the climber! (AND LOOK AT THE BELLY)!!!!
Daddy was out of town last week so the kids got to have a sleep over in my room. This was a first ever for them...
Growing up I remember always wanting to sleep in my brothers' room. Even though it was a school night, we gave in. We told them if Candy Cane heard a peep, he would report back to Santa that they were on the bad list. It worked. She did it! She wanted her hair cut and I let her pick the length. What fun it was to see her smile, flip her hair, and enjoy this big moment.
