Cousins Come to Town

Welcome to Chesterfield, Lori, Jackson, and Jillian and Grammy (but she has been here before)!  Luckily for our visitors they were able to experience some cooler July weather with less humidity.  Cool temperatures are so refreshing in the summer!  Macie and Weston were beyond excited and couldn't wait to show off their "TEENAGE cousins" to the neighborhood.  This is a BIG deal. Our neighborhood kids always compare who has the oldest cousin or who they know who is older and they love to play TEENAGER and COLLEGE.  We enjoyed every minute of our time and were glad they made the trip to St. Louis!

Just doing a few tricks to show off.

We took the family to the City Museum.  I think they were all a little unsure about what was in store because I didn't give much detail other than they needed to wear shoes.  It is safe to say that they loved this place.  I haven't never been anywhere like the City Museum.  It is filled with pathways, slides, climbing, and so much more.  I can't even imagine how long it took to make and create this place but whoever came up with the idea is APPLAUDED!

 Because Jackson played....Weston played.
Our neighbor caught a chipmunk while out of town, so we took SHOE to the park to be released to his new home.

Zack, Jackson, and Weston got a lot of fishing in while Jackson was here.  I think all the boys enjoyed their time together.  We stopped by on Friday night and Macie caught a fish too.

This picture is take way up high before we headed up through the tunnel (pic below) for a long slide down to the bottom.

While the boys did boy things, Jillian and Macie did hair, make up and had tea parties with the fancy plates and cups.  It was very sweet to watch the girls have fun doing girl things!

Although Grammy and Lori might kill me, I have to say we had a good 'ol time playing on the Wii while the "men" where fishing.  We danced and laughed...fun had by all.
