BRING ON SUMMER...June

June has come and gone which is hard to believe.  AHHHH...Summer!  I absolutely love having all three of chicks at home with this momma hen.  The first few days after school ended, it almost seemed like a dream.  We didn't have to go anywhere or do anything or rush to get to the bus.  I LOVE it.  This summer Macie has truly discovered what SUMMER means and loves it like she does the weekends and other holidays.  I feel the same way.  Before she was off to school, I had all three kids all the time and holidays, weekends, and summer were fun but we were all used to being together all the time.  NOW summer takes on a new meaning

Macie started off her summer with her ballet performance.  It was quite fun to watch her perform.  She is pretty determined that she still wants to be a famous ballerina..

Here's a pic from the last day of school.  It's crazy that the kids needed pants and jackets for field day and the last day!
Luckily, it warmed up so the kids were able to enjoy our little neighborhood celebration.

I love when they just play and play together.  It is so fun to watch.

He fixed his hair by putting lip gloss in it!  AND yes, he has tools.
Weston?  Weston?  Who is who?

Just like Mom!

We did a little body painting.  The kids painted for over an hour.  The bath probably took just as long but it was worth it.

Boo boo...he seem like he and Kinsley get them all the time.

OFF to TEXAS we go!
We love going to Texas.  There is just something special about going to the place you love and seeing the people you love.

Grammy took us to an awesome safari experience.  We drove through this safari for about 2 hours and loved every minute.  HOWEVER, we met Ollie and he changed the kids' minds when he was very aggressive with the food.  I think he could have almost buckled up and rode home with us he was in our car so long.  Macie now copies Jillian and says, "Camels are her worst nightmare."  Kinsley loved the adventure for the first few minutes of the drive, but a silly old bird pecked her figure.  She let out a scream I have never heard before and decided she liked the floor board better.  It was fun fun fun!  We left with food, camel hair, and dirt to take along with the great memories.

THIS IS WHERE THE KIDS wound up after OLLIE ate ALL our food.

We also went to another favorite place in Tyler, the Science Place.  This is one great place to play, discover, and have a good time.

We had a lot of fun hanging out with our cousins at Nonnie's house.  We lived at Splash Kingdom.  That is one great place.  Macie and Blake also attended Bible school again and loved it.  I was glad they got the chance to do that again.

If it isn't tools, weapong, or golf balls, then it is blocks (which he pretended were guns). I don't even know what to say about this other than the undies were big and he only wanted to wear the ones he could stick the blocks in.  It must be uncomfortable.

We found a snake skin by a big hole, so Pappy and Weston go to work making sure we didn't see a snake.

 FISHING!

Weston knows that he and his Pappy play golf when they are together and he can't wait to get out there and play.  LOVE IT!

Weston has his guns again.  POOR Nonnie was sick with Strep.  She was not feeling good a couple of days and we were glad to have her back feeling better.
SWEET FRIENDS!  These two girls melt my heart.  They hugged and took off playing while we Walker and Weston hit it off.  The boys didn't play back when we lived in Keller because they were little but boy did they have fun together.  I loved seeing my friend, Lauren and talking with her. We only had about an hour to talk.  It was too fast but fun.

 Did a drive by shooting.
We had to see our ST. Louis friends that moved to the DFW area while we were in Texas.  We miss them so much.  IT was great spending an hour with them too!

Nonnie treated Macie to a MANI/Pedi as Macie kept calling it.   We looked over and realized they were giving Macie the full treatment.  We thought she was just getting her fingernails painted.  WHAT A TREAT!!!
