Papaw and Grammy Come to Town

We had visitors and we LOVE visitors!  I wish everyone we knew from Texas could come up for a visit at some point.  Grammy and Papaw came up this past week and stayed with us.  Macie and Weston were very excited to show them around the house, their secret hide out, and their friends.  So YES it is May; however, the weather was cooler than most May days.  I guess they experienced the last of our "cold" weather even though the 60's aren't too cold.  We took the kids to the zoo which was lots of fun and then we also played Putt Putt Golf.  Macie wasn't so sure she would enjoy it but she had as good as a time as Weston and the rest of us. We also hung around the house and just enjoyed the time.  We loved Papaw and Grammy getting to meet and visit with the neighbors and see all the neighbor kids.  Of course, we look forward to another visit at some point.  They left on Monday and we were sad to see them go; however, they were headed for a little extra trip...40th anniversary celebration.

 Too bad we kept score because I lost by more than I should have...Papaw won!  Believe me, next time I am going to have to concentrate a little more.  We had lots of fun!

It was feeding time right when we arrived at the zoo which was fun because the zoo workers put the food by the windows.

We were able to pet the stingrays and the sharks there.  Macie was nervous about after a good bit of time she decided it was worth a try!
