Lots of neighbors decorated for Halloween. Macie wanted to decorate too. So we made toilet paper ghost. I also had a few window stickers that I bought last year so she was thrilled.
Going to TRUNK or TREAt at Macie's school.
Here is a picture of Macie's class. I love her sweet teachers and she talks about some of her friends in class. I have been so pleased this year with the "Rockstars."
This picture makes me laugh because Macie still has her bubble and duck tails. She was at the first booth with her bubble still in her mouth and I told her she could take it out since we were outside. The teachers laughed when they heard me because they said they will look over long after they are back in the classroom and she will still have her bubble. Ms. Courtney said they tell her to release it but that she likes to follow their rules.
The night before Halloween the kids carved their pumpkin with the help of Daddy. Neither Macie or Weston were concerned with the yuckiness of the pumpkin. In fact, Macie's teacher said she and her friend, Hayden were the only ones that would touch it at school. Macie and Weston got a big kick out of helping.
Macie wanted a princess pumpkin but her daddy told her Weston might not want it. She did help draw the the squiggly part of the mouth. We also put earrings on her and curly hair....since Weston had to go to bed for that part.
We went outside to light our pumpkin and Macie's friends were outside lighting theirs. Macie kept saying, "Boo" trying to scare the boys.
Halloween morning Hayden came over while her mommy took her brother to the doctor. We made a fall threat. They were grabbing at the candy as fast as they could to eat it.
OUR PRINCESS PUMPKIN...the girls did this all by themselves. They had about five other hats, a few pairs of socks, dress-up shoes, and jewelry they tried but they settled with this.
We all went to McDonalds because I wanted a cute pictures of MY HAMBURGER. I had come up with all the sayings I could say about Weston: making it great, 100% whole beef, I'm loving it...there were so many options BUT he was NOT having it. He just wanted to go inside and play.
While Weston napped, the girls made a spider web in the living room. I was the spider and they would have to go over and under the toilet paper to get away from me.
LUNCH: mini mummies. Isn't it crazy that Weston loves mustard.
He thinks he is funny when he gets a hold of Macie's hair.
Here is one of our sweet neighbors. Mycah is such a doll and Macie loves seeing her.
Here's my Big Mac!
Here is a good group of her kids in the neighborhood. We are missing a few of our friends but isn't it just great!
Ellie, Macie, and Hayden
Macie was a pro. Last year she was a little nervous about going up to scary doors but this year she knew exactly what she was getting at each house. She and Hayden a great time saying, "trick or treat" and getting candy. I think the bag of candy weighs over 5lbs. We have enough to last a year.
He isn't smiling in the picture but don't let it fool you. Weston was quite a good trick or treater. He would go up and get candy. He didn't do bad himself.
The night of trick or treating is over!
In the these pictures you Weston has his hand in the candy bowl. Each person would try and give Weston a piece of candy but he would reach for the piece he wanted instead. Several people laughed and then would give him extra. Too bad this little guy isn't getting to enjoy all the sweets.
Mr. James, our next door neighbor, gave the kids lots and lots of candy.
NOT BAD...which piece to eat first!
.....and not long after this the virus drama continues in our house but I am thankful we got to enjoy a fun night out with the kids.
